DIY Woodworking Project: Build Your Own Outdoor Bench

Tools Needed:
Power Tool Battery
Woodworking Square
Feet for Woodworking
Safety Vest
Work Safe Shoes
Stainless Steel Gloves
Materials:
2x4s
2x6s
Wood Screws
Wood Glue
Sandpaper
Step-by-Step Guide:
Cut four 2x4s to the length you want your bench to be (typically around 4-5 feet).
Cut two 2x6s to be the same length as your 2x4s. These will serve as the bench seat.
Use the woodworking square to make sure all your cuts are straight and accurate.
Sand all the pieces smooth to prepare for assembly.
Use the feet for woodworking to keep your workpiece stable while you assemble the bench.
Use the power tool battery to drive wood screws through the 2x4s into the ends of the 2x6s to create the bench seat.
Use wood glue and wood screws to attach the legs to the bench seat.
Once everything is assembled, use the leather swing kit to create a beautiful and sturdy swing for your bench.
Wear your work safe shoes and safety vest for added protection while you work.
Use the portable chair to take a break and admire your handiwork.
Finish off the bench by adding stainless steel gloves to protect your hands from rough edges.
